A state prison inmate that walked away from a minimum security unit in Sioux Falls last night is back in custody.
38-year-old Shane Archer was apprehended in Sioux Falls this afternoon.
He was missing from Unit C, the minimum-security unit of the Jameson Annex to the South Dakota State Penitentiary, during a count Saturday evening.
Archer is serving a 5-year sentence for Grant Theft out of Lawrence County.
