Manatee jail: Inmate threw hot soup at deputy

A bowl of hot soup just got an inmate in the Manatee County jail in more hot water.

Manatee County Sheriff’s Office

According to a report, 47-year-old Robert Timothy Miley, 47, recently threw hot soup on a deputy at the jail earlier.

Deputies intend to press a charge of battery on a law enforcement officer against Miley.

Miley is on jail on numerous assorted charges, including several for theft and burglary.
