Inmate absconds from Sudbury open prison
A man serving a 12-year sentence for manslaughter has absconded from a Derbyshire open prison.
Ashley Squires, 27, failed to return to HMP Sudbury over the weekend.
He was sentenced in 2006 at Warwick Crown Court for manslaughter and conspiracy to steal a motor vehicle.
He is described as being white, 5ft 10ins (1.78m) tall, of medium build, with short blond hair, green eyes and an East Anglian accent.
His last known address was in Leicester.
