Inmate van accident results in injuries

TOWN OF LOMIRA - The driver of a Cook County Sheriff's Department van and the inmate he was transporting were transported to Waupun Memorial Hospital on Tuesday following a one-vehicle accident in Dodge County.

The van was traveling west on Highway 49 near Pole Road in the town of Lomira at about noon when it left the road, according to information from the Dodge County Sheriff's Department.
